How we install sod

We take care of the whole process from start to finish.

Pair sod installation with irrigation

A new lawn needs consistent water to take root. That’s why we often install irrigation systems alongside sod.

We use Rain Bird sprinkler systems with WiFi controllers, efficient valves, and modern sprinkler heads. Zones are set up to water your grass evenly without wasting water. With irrigation in place, your new sod has the best chance to grow strong and stay green through Amarillo’s hot summers.

Caring for new sod

After installation, your sod will need some care:

• • Watering – daily at first, then tapering off as it takes root
  • Mowing – wait until the grass is rooted before the first mow
  • Checking edges – watch for dry spots or lifting edges
