Aquascape Certified ContractorWater highlights can meld seamlessly into just about any type of landscape, and they bring a character that's as big as Texas itself.  Whether it's a modest baxckyard pond or a grand, pond-free waterfall taking advantage of the natural slope in your backyard, or even a babbling creek meandering through your property, we can rustle it up for you. These water elements bring a sense of calm and pique interest in your outdoors, providing a haven for you and your visitors to kick back, take a breather, and bask in the melodic tunes of Mother Nature.

Amarillo Land Services is a landscaping contractor based out of Amarillo, Texas and serving Potter County and Randall County including Bushland, Canyon, and the Texas Panhandle.  We specialize in designing and building water features into residential landscapes.  Whether you want a pondless waterfall, an in-ground pond, a bubbling rock water fountain, or even a woodland stream lined with river rock running through your property, we can design and build a water feature that enhances your enjoyment from your landscape, improves it’s appearance, and works with your budget.

Small Or Large In-Ground Ponds

Have you ever thought about having an in-ground pond in your backyard?  Ponds make a great addition alongside any seating area or close to your patio, or right as the center of one of your garden beds.  We can build in-ground ponds in all shapes and sizes.  They can include colorful water based plants and we can also incorporate natural stone to make your pond appear as if it was always meant to be there.

Water Fountain Construction

Water fountains can add a dramatic effect to your landscape and the sound of the falling water can add a peaceful tranquility or even help drown out other background noises from a busy road or noisy neighbors.  Fountains are also a great way to utilize an existing slope in your yard and depending on the size and steepness of the slope your fountain could contain more than one level with small cascading waterfalls down into the next level or even a small pond at the bottom.

Waterfall Construction

Waterfalls are another great way to utilize an existing slope in your property transforming what would otherwise be a problem into a beautiful and relaxing pleasure.  We can build a waterfall that cascades over a retaining wall or into a backyard pond or one that cascades down a riverbed of rocks and small boulders for a more natural look.

Pondless Waterfalls

Unlike a traditional pond with a waterfall, a pondless waterfall is designed to recirculate the water, creating a continuous flow without the need for a pond. This makes them a great option for homeowners who want the beauty and sound of a waterfall without the maintenance of a pond.

One of the main benefits of a pondless waterfall is their low maintenance. Since there is no standing water, there is no need for chemicals or regular cleaning. This makes them a great option for homeowners who want a beautiful water feature without the hassle of regular maintenance.

Pondless waterfalls can be designed to fit any space, whether it is a large backyard or a small patio. They can be incorporated into existing landscaping or designed as a standalone feature. They can also be customized with different types of rocks and plants to create a unique look and feel that complements the surrounding environment.

In addition to their beauty and low maintenance, pondless waterfalls also provide the relaxing sound of running water, which can be a great way to reduce stress and promote relaxation. They can also be illuminated with underwater lighting to create a beautiful and calming ambiance during the evening hours.

Natural Streams & Creeks

Fountains, waterfalls, and ponds all make a bold impact but what if you want a more natural look?  Small streams or creeks are another great way to incorporate water into an existing landscape.  A stream can wind it’s way through your garden beds and under a small bridge or surround your hardscape.  They can be accented with water plants and natural stone and we design and build them for almost any sized space.

Streams or creeks are another great way to utilize any natural slope in your property as the water naturally flows downhill.  Your stream could begin at the base of a small waterfall or water fountain and meander it’s way into a small pond, the possibilities are endless and the only real limitation is your imagination.

Dry Creekbed Construction

Dry creekbeds are a popular water feature that can add both beauty and function to a landscape. They are designed to mimic the look of a natural creek or riverbed, but without the need for standing water. Dry creekbeds can be used to control erosion, direct water runoff, or simply as a decorative element in a landscape.

One of the main benefits of a dry creekbed is its low maintenance. This makes them a great option for homeowners who want a beautiful and unique water feature without the hassle of regular maintenance.

Dry creekbeds can also be designed to fit any space, whether it is a large backyard or a small garden. They can be incorporated into existing landscaping or designed as a standalone feature. They can also be customized with different types and placements of rocks and plants to create a unique look.

Dry creekbeds can also serve a practical purpose. They can be used to control erosion by directing water runoff away from gutter downspouts and into a designated area. This can help prevent soil erosion, protect foundations, and prevent flooding.

Johnathan Norris and Brandon just left. They were quick but very thourough. I asked about a problem in my flower bed and they were so knowledgeable about the most likely cause and suggestion for a remedy. Also kindly educated me about mulch and other things. Just moved back home to Borger after 39 years away, so I am pretty ignorant about the growing season but thanks to people like Johnathan and Brandon, I'm learning.

Awesome service! Technician, CD called when headed out, diagnosed my issue within just a few minutes and gave me an estimated cost to repair. Work was done quickly, checked my entire sprinkler system after repairs were done, made a few adjustments to sprinkler heads and everything is working properly. If you need your irrigation system worked on these are the guys to call. Will definitely call again if I need repairs. Very professional.

The fellows (Tyler and Jacob, I believe) who did the work on my irrigation system listened to my requests and completed all the work that I asked them to do in such as way that really satisfied me. It was a difficult day with rain slowing them down periodically, but they stuck with the job to the finish. I will definitely recommend them.

Tyler was very professional, explained everything my system needed and also followed up with a phone call. Very rare these days. Very happy with the job and impressed how quickly it was finished. Had everything needed in the truck, did not have to order any parts or come back to finish the job. It was taken care of on the first trip.
